Platform basics

What is the difference between the public site and the dashboard?

The public site is client-facing (home, services, calendar, team, gallery, FAQ, contact, plus walk-in waitlist or memberships when enabled). The dashboard is for owners and staff to manage bookings, payments, and operations.

Themes and branding

What themes are available for my public booking site?

Four preset themes: Noir (default), Emerald, Sapphire, and Gilded.

Can I change my theme?

Yes. Theme selection lives in Branding panel → Themes.

Can I choose my own accent color?

Not at this time. Accent colors are set by the theme.

Can I upload a logo and hero image?

Yes. Logo upload is in Branding panel → Logo. Hero image upload is in Branding panel → Hero and Homepage.

Public pages

What public pages are included?

Home, Services, Service Detail, Calendar, Gallery, Transformations, Team, FAQ, About, Contact, Walk-in Waitlist (when enabled), Memberships (when enabled), and Shop (only if inventory exists).

Can I hide pages I do not want to show?

Yes. Visibility toggles exist for gallery, about, contact, calendar, team, FAQ, and reviews.

Can I edit the contact page copy?

Yes. The headline, subhead, and form note are editable in Branding panel → Contact.

Can I edit SEO titles and descriptions for my pages?

Yes. You can update SEO titles and descriptions for public pages to improve search visibility.

Why does the Shop link not always appear?

It only appears when inventory items exist.

What is the About dropdown?

It includes About Us, Team, and FAQ.

Booking and calendar

What can customers do in the portal?

Clients can view upcoming appointments, reschedule or cancel, pay, favorite services or staff, and add bookings to their calendars (Google or ICS).

Where do clients join the openings waitlist for cancellations?

Clients join the openings waitlist from the customer portal, while the walk-in waitlist lives on your public booking site.

Does the public calendar show service names?

Not for blocked windows. The calendar is privacy-safe by default.

Where does the Book Now button link to?

It points to the Services page by default.

Reviews and social proof

Who can leave reviews?

Verified customers tied to completed bookings. Reviews require approval before they appear publicly.

Where do review stats come from?

They are pulled from your social proof settings or aggregated from approved reviews.

Inventory and shop

How are inventory items handled?

Inventory items are treated as billable products with optional stock tracking.

Domains and login

Can I use a custom domain?

Yes. Point your DNS to your Dabicus subdomain and your custom domain will route correctly.

How do I connect my custom domain?

Add a CNAME record that points your custom domain to your Dabicus subdomain for a seamless branded experience.

Do you support www aliases?

Yes. Custom domain routing supports www aliases.

Where do owners and staff log in?

Owners and staff log in at app.<base-domain> or via their tenant subdomain login.

Where do customers log in?

Customers use the portal at /portal/.

Media and uploads

Where do uploads live?

Uploads are stored in /media/ for logos, hero images, gallery, before/after, and support attachments.

Are there limits on uploads?

Yes. File extensions are limited and image sizes are capped.

Payments and email

Are payments powered by Stripe Connect?

Yes. Stripe Connect onboarding is built into the dashboard.

Do contact forms send email?

Yes. Contact form submissions are delivered to your inbox once email settings are connected.
